He is a seasoned media administrator, marketing specialist and financial economist. He was promoted as Executive Director at Leadership Media Group, publishers of LEADERSHIP newspapers, following his consistent achievement of performance targets as Chief Marketing Officer of the company.
Earlier on in his career trajectory, he joined Media Trust Limited, publishers of DAILY TRUST newspapers, in 2007 and rose through the ranks to head the Marketing and Distribution units with oversights on products planning and strategy. Before then he was in the academia and had a stint as a Lecturer.
Rasheed earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Jos and thereafter bagged a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Abuja. He is an author and loves reading.
