He is a professional Project Manager with vast experience in media and banking. He has been in the media and banking profession for thirteen unbroken years. His key skills are project management, business process re-engineering, business strategy, branding, digital media, financial analysis and corporate communications.
Pius started his professional career in 2008 and has worked with Intercontinental Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc (Post acquisition of Intercontinental Bank), and First City Monument Bank Plc as Head of Operations.
In 2018, he joined the Daily Times as the Group Head of Operations and Strategy. In 2019, he was elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer after remarkable business growth achievements, and successes across many indices. He led on business management, brand partnerships, corporate communications, sales and marketing.
Pius has documented evidences of excellence, commitment, and professionalism in his present and previous job functions through excellent planning and his ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and exceptional complex problems solving skills.
Among his many professional achievements is the partnership with Google Initiative Relief Fund on COVID-19 for media organizations in Nigeria in 2020, and in 2015 as a major team lead improved Access Bank’s operations Central Bank rating from C to A+ within three months.
Pius holds a graduate degree in Civil Engineering (Structures Option).
