A consummate journalist with streaks of academic laurels, Nneka Nwaogwugwu graduated top of her set with a First Class degree in Communication Studies from University of Port Harcourt.
She has attended training programmes on new media and journalism ethics sponsored by the MacArthur Foundation. She began her professional career with the Public Affairs Directorate of the University of Ilorin from where she joined the DAILY TIMES Nigeria as a reporter. Her talent was immediately recognised as she was made the pioneer editor of a niche section, Brand Times.
She is passionate about food security and climate issues.
